Pros

What We Like
  • The primary selling point of this desk exercise bike is the work station. It is quite similar to the previous models and has a non-slip surface to allow users work on their laptops without their moving around. It also includes an integrated tablet holder, which is a nice feature.
  • In addition to this, the bike has an easy access storage tray and forearm massage rollers which save you from any discomfort while working on the computer for a long time. Hence, the desk is an ideal size and comes loaded with all the features any user would look for.
  • Talking about the exercise bike itself, it gives a decent workout due to the 8 magnetic resistance levels using which you can vary the workout intensity and burn more calories. The bike also includes resistance bands which allow getting lower body workout for fitness, weight loss, and toning benefits. You can also tone your arms and get an upper body workout.
  • Finally, the FitDesk FDX3.0 Bike Desk has an electronic digital display which is easy to read and indicates speed, distance, time, calories burnt and other parameters to help you track your performance. Cons

What We Do Not Like
  • As far as the features are reviewed, the only drawback of this bike is that the performance monitor is somewhat basic as it displays only time, distance, speed, and calories. There are no integrated pulse sensors and so there is no pulse readout. Moreover, there are no workout programs included with any description.
  • Other than this, a design flaw from the previous model is still not rectified in the latest version. If the user operates a tablet or laptop on the desk, it covers the display monitor and won’t be able to track his performance.

However, these are minor drawbacks and most people using this machine would be more interested in watching movies or working on their computer rather than reading out the performance on the monitor.

Price

The spin bike is surely worth the money for fitness enthusiasts with very little time.
